CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. – Emily Haas, who recently wrapped up a four-year career with the Stevenson University women's golf program, was named to the Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) All-American Scholar Team earlier this week. A total of 952 women's collegiate golfers from all three NCAA divisions were selected.
A minimum 3.50 cumulative GPA is required to be named to the WGCA All-American Scholar Team.
Haas, a Fashion Merchandising major, was named a CoSIDA Third Team Academic All-America At-Large in 2017. Stevenson's nominee for the NCAA Woman of the Year, Haas was named Middle Atlantic Conference All-Academic for the third time in her career, and also earned the MAC Senior Scholar-Athlete Award for women's golf. She is a two-time NCAA Elite 90 Award winner, and received Stevenson's Dean Dawson Award for having the highest cumulative GPA of a graduating senior student-athlete.
On the course, Haas was a three-time MAC All-Conference performer. She helped lead the Mustangs to back-to-back MAC titles and NCAA appearances in 2015 and 2016 and a runner-up finish this past spring.
