Women's Golf Finishes Second, Wirtz Tied for Fifth at Arcadia Invitational

BLUE BELL, Pa. - The Stevenson women's golf team finished second overall with a team score of 360 at the Arcadia Invitational, held at the Cedarbrook Country Club. Junior Morgan Wirtz finished tied for fifth with an 87.

Wirtz now has eight top-five finishes on the season.

Freshman Julia Kline finished a stroke back of Wirtz to finish seventh overall. Kline has shot under 90 in four-straight rounds.

Senior Emily Haas finished tied for eighth with a 92, while freshman Brynne Wiedeman carded a 93 to complete the team score. 

Freshman Autumn Bryant finished tied for 19th with a 105. 

Aine Filler of Muhlenberg and Emily Gilbert of Alvernia finished tied for first with each player shooting a 10-over par 82. Muhlenberg finished 16 strokes ahead of Stevenson to take the team title. 

The Mustangs tee off next at the Middle Atlantic Conference Championships, held at the Hershey Country Club (East Course), starting on Saturday, April 22 through Sunday, April 23.
