Ciara Webb Named Women's Basketball Graduate Assistant

OWINGS MILLS, Md. – Ciara Webb, a four-year member of the Towson University women's basketball team, will join the Stevenson University women's basketball coaching staff as a graduate assistant, head coach Jackie Boswell announced Wednesday.

Webb, a Baltimore native, worked with the Towson women's basketball staff this past season as a Director of Women's Basketball Operations intern, assisting with the day-to-day operations of the Tiger program.  She worked on scouting reports, video, recruiting as well as coaches and team travel.

Graduating from Towson in December, 2015 with a degree in Communication Studies, Webb played for the Tigers from 2011-15, serving as a team captain in her final two seasons.  As a senior she won the program's inaugural Unsung Hero award and averaged 8.6 points and 5.3 rebounds per game and ranked second on the team with 53 three-pointers.

Webb has served as a guest color commentator on women's basketball broadcasts on the Towson Sports Network and also played with the Baltimore Cougar Legends.  She is a graduate of Patterson High School, ending her career as that program's all-time leading scorer with 1,511 points.

Stevenson made its fifth straight postseason appearance in 2017-18, reaching the ECAC quarterfinals.  The Mustangs went 17-12 overall.
