NEW ORLEANS – Three members of the Stevenson University men's cross country program were honored by the USTFCCCA recently as they were named to the NCAA Division III All-Academic Team.  Sophomores Ryan Siegel and Patrick Watson and freshman Aditya Singh were all honored.

In order to qualify for the honor, student-athletes must have a cumulative GPA of 3.30 and finish in the top 25 percent of their respective regional championship meet.

Siegel, an Accounting major, placed 89th overall out of 365 runners at the NCAA Mideast Regional in November.  He also finished 13th at the MAC Championship to earn Second Team All-Conference honors.

Singh, a Biology major, finished the NCAA regional in a time of 26:53.5 to place 77th overall.  He finished 14th at the MAC Championship to earn Second Team honors.

Watson, a Criminal Justice major, finished 11th at the NCAA Mideast Region meet to qualify for NCAA nationals.  He also placed second at the MAC Championship.  Both finishes were the highest-ever for a Mustang runner.
