OWINGS MILLS, Md. – The Stevenson University men's and women's cross country teams kick off their 2017 schedule on Friday, September 1 when they host the Mustang Stampede at Stevenson's Greenspring campus. The meet opens a seven-meet slate for the Mustangs this season.
Stevenson is home for the first two weeks of the 2017 season, as it hosts the Shannon Henretty Invitational the following Friday, September 8. The Mustangs then travel to famed Van Cortlandt Park in the Bronx on Friday, September 15 to compete in Iona College's John Paddy Doyle Meet of Champions. September rounds out with the Paul Short Invitational at Lehigh University on Friday, September 29.
October sees the Mustangs head west the weekend of October 14 as they travel to California to compete at the Pomona-Pitzer Cross Country Invitational, a meet that will give Stevenson an opportunity to compete at an altitude of over 1,000 feet. Stevenson then competes at the Lebanon Valley Last Chance meet on Friday, October 20.
The Middle Atlantic Conference Championship is set for Saturday, October 28 at Delaware Valley University in Doylestown, Pa., while the NCAA Mideast Regional is slated for Saturday, November 11 at Dickinson College.
