Gash Leads Mustangs to 11th Place at DeSales Invitational

CENTER VALLEY, Pa. - Sophomore Langston Gash clocked an impressive 8k time of 26:26 in leading the Stevenson men's cross country team to an 11th place finish out of 38 schools in a loaded field at the DeSales Invitational. Gash finished 20th overall. 

Freshman Ryan Siegel broke the 27-minute mark with a solid time of 26:57, which earned him 39th place. 

Freshman Patrick Watson clocked a 27:22, while sophomore Sam Mercoli crossed the line in 27:44.

Rounding out team score for the Mustangs was sophomore Jackson Morrow who completed the course with a time of 27:56.

Freshman Iddriss Iddriss and sophomore Brett Olin turned in times of 28:13 and 28:30, respectively.

Jaryd Flank of Muhlenberg won the individual title with a time of 25:34, which was just eight seconds ahead of Dickinson runner Mason Hepner. Dickinson won the team title by 23 points over York (Pa.) with a combined score 52.

The Mustangs will conclude the regular season at the LVC Last Chance Run Fast meet held at the Union Canal Tunnel Park on Friday, October 21 at 4:30 p.m.
