Gash Finishes Third Overall in 4k at Dickinson Long/Short Invitational

NEWVILLE, Pa. - Stevenson men's cross country sophomore Langston Gash completed the 4k (2.48 miles) course at Big Spring High School in 12:49.3, which earned him third place overall at the Dickinson Long/Short Invitational. The Mustangs, who competed in the 4k race (meet also has an 8k race), finished second overall with 18 points. 

Freshman Patrick Watson clocked a 13:12.9 to take seventh overall, while freshman Ryan Siegel finished eighth with a 13:16.6 to complete the team score for Stevenson.

Sophomore Sam Mercoli crossed the line in 13:21 to take 12th place. Freshman Iddriss Iddriss finished 10 seconds back of Mercoli in 13:31.1, which gave him 14th overall.

Junior John Quatroche, freshman Nikita Kulick and sophomore Jackson Morrow crossed the line consecutively with times of 13:31.9, 13:32.9 and 13:37.5 to take 16th through 18th place.

Sophomore Brett Olin (13:42.2) along with freshmen Darius Blalock (13:54.6) and Eric Baranoski (13:56.4) also finished in the top 25.

Eric Herrmann of Dickinson finished first overall with a time of 12:32.8, while his school took the team title with eight points.

The Mustangs compete next at the Disney Cross Country Classic held at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex in Orlando, Fl on Saturday, October 8.
