Mustangs Add Home Tri-Match With No. 10 Baruch, Lancaster Bible

OWINGS MILLS, Md. - Stevenson head men's volleyball coach Joe Tagye announced on Tuesday that the Mustangs have added a tri-match with No. 10 Baruch and Lancaster Bible at Owings Mills Gymnasium on Wednesday, March 27.

Stevenson (9-4), ranked at No. 11 in the latest AVCA Division III Men's Top 15 Coaches Poll on Tuesday, will play Lancaster Bible at 3:00 p.m., and Baruch at 7:00 p.m. Lancaster Bible and Barch will play each other at 5:00 p.m.

The Mustangs have won three of their last four and achieved the program's highest-ever national ranking earlier in the day. The team won its only home game of the season with a 25-22, 23-25, 25-23, 28-26 over Cairn back on February 2.

Meanwhile, Baruch (10-3) has won four of its last six and is 4-2 against nationally-ranked teams this season. The Bearcats won the last meeting against Stevenson on Jan. 29, 2012, 21-25, 25-23, 25-17, 25-19.

Lancaster Bible (5-5) is scheduled to play two games against the Mustangs this season, both at Owings Mills Gymnasium on March 27 and April 9. Stevenson has won the last 11 meetings against its former NECVA Western Division rival dating back to the 2007 season.
