Box score

LANCASTER, Pa. - Stevenson men's volleyball sophomore Jason Matkowski (Warminster, Pa./William Tennent) and senior David Lloyd (Germantown/Seneca Valley) each had double doubles, posting 35 kills and 31 digs as the Mustangs beat Lancaster Bible for the second time in three days, 26-30, 30-14, 30-24, 30-27 Monday night.

As a team, Stevenson (3-0, 2-0 NECVA West) totaled 60 kills and 59 digs. Matkowski finished with 19 kills and 17 digs, both team-highs, while Lloyd added 16 kills and 14 digs. The duo combined for 35 kills and 27 digs in Saturday's win over the Chargers.

Stevenson's three wins are the best start to a season under fifth-year head coach Jeff Blake. In winning a school-record 20 games a year ago, the Mustangs began the year 5-5 before winning 15 of their final 23 games en route to a 20-13 mark.

Sophomore Dean Massimini (Washington Township, N.J./Washington Township) finished with 46 assists, 15 shy of his career-high of 61 versus New Jersey City on Apr. 11, 2009 in five sets. His four-set high is 52 which he accomplished three times last season. He also added eight digs.

Freshmen Robert Kryger (Massapequa, N.Y./Massapequa) and Kyle Diller (Chambersburg, Pa./Chambersburg) each totaled a career-high in kills as Kyrger had nine and Diller added seven. Diller also had nine digs.

A.J. Longacre posted his second double double against the Mustangs this season with 15 kills and 10 digs while Jesse Corbin just missed it for the second-straight game, finishing with nine kills and 11 digs. He had 12 kills and nine digs in Saturday's game.

Stevenson returns to action Saturday at the Wildcat Invitational hosted by SUNY IT where they will face Lasell and Sage.
