LEWISBURG, Pa. - Junior Patrick Watson clocked a school-record time of 14:33.43 in the 5000 at the Bison Outdoor Classic, hosted by Bucknell University. Watson, who placed 23rd overall out of a field of 76 Division I, II and III athetes, shattered his previous school mark of 14:48.60 set at the Penn Relays on April 26, 2018.
Watson's performance is one of the top times in the Mideast region and has him in the running for a spot in the NCAA Division III Championships in May.
Watson was the lone Mustang athlete to compete at this meet.
Stevenson competes next at the York (Pa.) College Twilight meet on Wednesday, April 17.
