Men's Track Sets Two School Records at Penn Relays

PHILADELPHIA, Pa. - The Stevenson men's track and field team set school records in the 4x100 and 4x400 at the Penn Relays, held at Franklin Field. 

Sophomores Aaron Holliday, Tylor Bailey, Matt Riggins and senior Devonte Williams set a school mark in the 4x100m relay with a combined time of 41.57 seconds, which is currently tied for 11th best in Division III. The group finished third in its heat and 23rd overall out of 75 Division I, II and III schools.

Later in the day, Williams, Riggins and freshmen Iddriss Iddriss and Colin Horne finished third overall in the Pop Haddleton MAC 4x400m relay with a school-record time of 3:18.57. That time also earned them a spot into the ECAC Outdoor Championships.

In the 4x200, Tylor Bailey and sophomores Morgan Cheatham, Malcolm Hayward and Avery Wood finished with a combined time of 1:32.27. 

The Mustangs compete next in the Paul Kaiser Classic, hosted by Shippensburg, on Saturday, April 29. This meet is Stevenson's final tune-up before the MAC Outdoor Championships.
