Men's Tennis to Host USTA Campus Kids Day March 21

STEVENSON, Md. - Stevenson head men's tennis coach Jason Cohen announced today that the Mustangs will be participating in Campus Kids' Day, a program sponsored by the United States Tennis Association (USTA), on Sunday, March 21 when the team hosts a Mid-Atlantic Region match versus Shenandoah.

The match begins at 2:00 p.m., at the tennis courts on the Greenspring campus. There will be free  giveaways, contests and refreshments provided for all attending.

Campus Kids Days are designed to expose more junior players, and their parents and coaches, to college tennis varsity team matches. The event and any promotions are open to all attending so any attending prospects are not receiving extra benefits.

The three primary goals of the Campus Kids' Day program is player development, an increased fan base and community outreach and advocacy.

Stevenson and Shenandoah have split the last two meetings with the Hornets winning 6-3 at home last season and the Mustangs prevailing 7-0 at home in 2008.
