Kratzer Leads Men's Swimming in Loss to Hood

FREDERICK, Md. - Junior Stephen Kratzer picked up two first-place finishes in Stevenson's 40-114 loss to host Hood.

Kratzer won the 100-Yard Butterfly by almost two seconds with a time of 58.61. Kratzer was the lone swimmer in the 1000 Yard Freestyle, finishing with a time of 11:46.48.

In the 500-Yard Free, Kratzer picked up a second-place finish with a time of 5:47.53. Sophomore Brian Brown would take second in the event with a 5:50.94. Brown would also take third in the 200 Free with a 2:06.15. 

Senior Adam Michalak clocked a 1:00.14 in the 100 Free, earning him third place in the event. Michalak also placed third in the 50 Free with a 26.99.

The Mustangs compete next when they host Lycoming in a dual meet on Saturday, November 3 at 2:00 p.m.
