Ross Dinan Tabbed as ECAC Defensive Player of the Week

DANBURY, Conn. – Senior goalie Ross Dinan of the Stevenson University men's lacrosse team was tabbed as the ECAC Division III South Defensive Player of the Week earlier this week.

Dinan, who was named MAC Commonwealth Defensive Player of the Week on Monday, went 3-0 last week with a 6.95 goals-against average and .500 save percentage.  He went the distance in a 10-8 win at Widener, turning aside seven shots, while Dinan had six saves in 45 minutes against Lycoming and three stops in 33 minutes in a home win over Hood.  Dinan also picked up 11 ground balls and had a pair of caused turnovers on the week.

In 11 games this season, Dinan has recorded a 9.08 GAA and .467 save percentage.  In five MAC Commonwealth starts, he owns a 4.87 goals against average and .538 save percentage.

Ranked No. 12 nationally, Stevenson returns to action Thursday when it travels to Alvernia for a 4:00 contest.
