LEBANON, PA. - Sophomore Andrew Wally fired an even-par 72 to finish fourth at the Lebanon Valley Invitational, held at the Lebanon Country Club. Wally, who competed on Stevenson's "A" squad, now has six career top-five finishes and five rounds where he has shot a 72 or lower.
The Mustangs "A" team finished fourth in the team standings with a score of 313.
The "B" team would finish with a combined score 329 to finish 10th.
David Herbst of Lebanon Valley's "Blue" squad and Andrew Cornish of Penn State Berks finished tied first after both players finished at two-under par on the day. But, Herbst would win the tiebreaker due to having the lower score on the second handicap hole (#2). Lebanon Valley "Blue" won the team title by six strokes over Penn State Berks with a score of 301.
The Mustangs tee off next at the two-day Mason-Dixon Collegiate Classic, which will be held at The Bridges Golf Club starting on Saturday, September 30 through Sunday, October 1.
