Robb Johnson will work with the Mustang running backs in 2018. A veteran coach, he was most recently at Towson as a defensive quality control coach.
Before that, Johnson was on the defensive staff at Morgan State, helping the Bears to a MEAC crown and NCAA berth in 2014. He was also at Bowie State from 2007-10.
Johnson has also been a high school head coach at New Town (2013-14), Mount Carmel (2010-13) and Pikesville (2003-07). He also spent the summer of 2016 with the Washington Redskins working with the defensive backs as part of the Bill Walsh Diversity Coaching Fellowship.
A standout defensive back at Morgan State from 1988-92, Johnson had 13 career interceptions and was a three-time All-MEAC performer. He went on to earn his bachelors’ degree from the University of Baltimore.
