OWINGS MILLS, Md. - The Stevenson football team will host FDU-Florham and wrap-up its second season of intercollegiate play on Saturday, November 10 at 6:00 p.m., at Mustang Stadium.
The game was originally scheduled for Friday, November 9, but was rescheduled due to the effects of Hurricane Sandy that left FDU-Florham without electricity and closed the school for 10 days.
Stevenson (1-8, 1-7 MAC) looks for its second win of the season and second in the Middle Atlantic Conference when it welcomes the Devils to Mustang Stadium Saturday night. The Mustangs are also looking for their first win at home this season.
FDU-Florham (2-6, 2-5 MAC) returns to the gridiron after a two-week break as Sandy canceled their home finale and Senior Day against No. 11 Widener last Saturday. The Devils hope to extend its winning streak to two after defeating Misericordia 41-10 on October 27. A win on Saturday would be their longest winning streak since beginning the 2010 season 3-0.
In pre-game ceremonies the Mustangs will recognize the 17 seniors from FDU-Florham as well as the four seniors from Stevenson, Antonio Cheatham (Pikesville, Md./Milford Mill Academy), Kyle Orndorff (Hagerstown, Md./Smithsburg) and manager Cameron Anderson.
In honor of Veteran's Day, Stevenson will also recognize servicemen and women in attendance, including two current Mustangs, U.S. Marine Lance Corporal Christian Manning (Cockeysville, Md./Calvert Hall) and U.S. Army reservist Adam Lawicki (York, Pa./Dallastown).
