Alumnus Jordan Wright Named Baseball Graduate Assistant

OWINGS MILLS, Md. - Stevenson baseball head coach Jason Tawney announced that former Mustang Jordan Wright will join the coaching staff for the 2017 season, serving as the team's graduate assistant.

Wright, a 2013 graduate of Stevenson, played one season for the Mustangs after competing in three seasons for Centenary College. Over his four-year career, Wright appeared in 127 games while making 81 starts. He recorded a .270 batting average and totaled 87 hits, 55 runs, 153 RBIs, 20 doubles and two home runs.

Following graduation, Wright joined City Year Los Angeles as a Corps Member where he designed individual strategic support programs in English, language arts and math for sixth grade students. From there he also held positions as a counselor at Harold Robinson Foundation and most recently at Camp Ubuntu Watts.

Wright earned his Bachelors of Science in Business Administration with a minor in human services.
