A Total of 23 Student-Athletes Named to MAC Winter Academic Honor Roll

Winter Honor Roll

ANNVILLE, Pa. - A total of 23 Stevenson University student-athletes representing five of its winter sport athletic teams were named to the 2014-15 Middle Atlantic Conference Winter Academic Honor Roll on Tuesday by MAC Executive Director Ken Andrews.

A total of 506 student-athletes from the MAC's 17 schools were honored on Tuesday. Messiah paced the conference with 85 honorees while Lebanon Valley (67), Widener (59), and Misericordia (56). rounded out the top four.

In addition, five MAC student-athletes achieved a 4.0 grade point average.

The Mustang women's basketball team had the most honorees for Stevenson with 11 while junior Caitlin Roy led the way with a 3.93 grade point average.

Through the fall and winter, Stevenson has placed a total of 75 student-athletes on the MAC Academic Honor Roll this year, which is an increase of 22 from last year at this time.

The honor roll comprises those student-athletes of sophomore class standing or higher who participated in a varsity-level sport and registered a cumulative grade point average of 3.20 (4.00 scale) or higher and completed the playing season in good standing.
