ANNVILLE, Pa.– A total of 138 Stevenson University student-athletes competing in seven fall sports were named to the Fall, 2017 Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Academic Honor Roll. The fall honor roll encompasses the sports of men's and women's cross country, field hockey, football, men's and women's soccer and women's volleyball.
The 138 Mustang student-athletes named to the Fall Academic Honor Roll is an increase from last year's 129 and the 109 from the fall of 2015. A total of 13 Stevenson student-athletes posted a perfect 4.0 semester GPA in the fall. Stevenson also had the second-highest number of honorees, trailing Misericordia's 143.
The academic honor roll is comprised of student-athletes who compete in a varsity level sport and registered a term/semester GPA of 3.20 (on a 4.00 scale) or higher.
Football led the way with 46 honorees, while women's soccer had 33 and men's soccer and field hockey had 16 apiece.
A total of 1,443 student-athletes from the MAC's 17 institutions were named to the honor roll.
