After 12 seasons of playing off campus, the Stevenson baseball team now has a place to call their own a little closer to home on the Sugar campus of The Park School. The field is located directly behind the Greenspring campus of Stevenson University and has a beautiful back drop of the rolling hills of the Greenspring Valley.
The University made a major investment in the program by improving the game field by adding 45-foot covered dugouts and a 32-foot press box. The outfield fence measures six-feet high with a 12-foot high batter’s eye in centerfield. The dimensions of the field are 320 feet down the left and right field lines, 375 feet in left and right center and 385 feet to centerfield.
In addition to the game field, there is also a new practice infield, bullpen mounds, two batting tunnels and a soft toss/tee hitting area.
There is plenty of game day parking available in the lots located at the back of the Greenspring campus, adjacent to the tennis courts. Restrooms are located in the Manuszak Center which houses one of two University bookstores and the auxiliary gymnasium which is next to the Inscape Theatre and Art Gallery.
