Hoover begins his third year at Stevenson as an assistant athletic trainer in 2017-18.
Hoover, a certified athletic trainer since 2012, has his CPR and AED certified by the American Red Cross and the American Heart Association. He also has a Utah State Licensure in athletic training.
Prior to Stevenson, Hoover served as an assistant athletic trainer at Utah State University, working with campus recreation and club sports. He dealt with high impact sports such as ice hockey, rugby and lacrosse. While with the Aggies, Hoover also worked with the men's and women's track and field team's while serving as an athletic trainer during the summer football camp.
Hoover started as a student athletic trainer at Slippery Rock University and Karns City High School in 2008. In 2011, he served as a first responder for Slippery Rock University athletics summer camp.
A 2012 graduate of Slippery Rock University, Hoover earned his bachelor's in athletic training. He went on to earn his master's degree in Health and Human Movement, with an emphasis in Sports Medicine from Utah State University in 2014.
